OCC Transport’s Training Program
Description
Our training program is a 6–8 week intensive program designed to develop qualified bus drivers. Participants earn a New York State Class B Commercial Driver’s License and receive a completion stipend after successfully completing the training program, getting hired, and passing a probationary period.
Program Overview
Our training program features 3-4 weekly driving sessions approximately 3-4 hours long, plus an additional 2-3 classroom hours each week. Flexible scheduling is available, however, our training program demands roughly 15-18 hours per week of time commitment both in and outside of scheduled training sessions. The NYS CDL Class B Road Test takes place towards the end of training. All training sessions are mandatory. All employees are required to work a minimum of approximately 15 hours per week.
